What We Believe

Grace Revolution Ministries is dedicated to the purpose of unveiling the finished work of Jesus Christ - the Gospel of Grace. Our ministry is focused solely on declaring what Christ accomplished at the cross on our behalf. Our desire is to share the pure gospel of God’s love and grace with the world because we have found that His grace transforms lives and satisfies our hearts.

We Believe...

In One God...God eternally exists in three persons, Father, Son, and Spirit, in perfect union and relational harmony.

We Believe...

In Two Distinct Covenants...The Old and New Testaments of the Bible are the inspired Word of God, revealing His Triune nature. These scriptures clearly point to two distinct covenants that God has made; a covenant of law (based on our works and performance in holiness) and a covenant of grace (based on faith in the finished work of Jesus) (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:19-21). These covenants cannot be mixed into a blended approach to God.

We Believe...

The Kingdom of God…The kingdom of God in the broadest sense is God's supreme sovereignty. God’s reign is now manifest in the church and in the life of each believer who is submissive to his will. The kingdom of God will be fully manifest over the whole world after the return of Jesus Christ when he delivers all things to the Father.

(Luke 17:20-211 Corinthians 15:24-28Colossians 1:13Revelation 1:611:1521:322-2722:1-5)

We Believe...

In Jesus Christ...Jesus, fully God and fully man, came to reveal and redeem the image of God in us. Jesus mirrors the blueprint of our design, not as an example for us, but as an example of us. Jesus is God’s bold declaration of who He proclaims and believes us to be. “…As He is so are we in this world.” (1 Jn. 4:17)

We Believe...

In the Holy Spirit...The Holy Spirit lives inside of all God’s children and is the instrument for new life within the believer (Titus 3:5). He dwells within and is working in the life of believers as the comforter, leading and guiding in truth (Jn. 14:16-18).  He actively works through His gifts (1 Cor. 12:4-11; Rom. 12:6-8), and His fruit (Ga. 5:22-25) in the lives of believers today.

The Holy Spirit exists to glorify Christ and does so by constantly reminding believers of the finished work of Christ and their identity because of this work (Hebrews 10:15-18, John 14:26, John 16: 14). He also acts to convict unbelievers of their sin and need for a Savior (John 16: 8-11), and is a great comforter and helper to all who listen to Him (John 14:26).

We Believe...

Man is Created in God's Image...God created man in His own image and likeness, to fill the earth with humanity made in God’s image and likeness (Gen. 1:27)(Col ).

We Believe...

In Relational Intimacy...God is relational, and made us relational as well. Just as Jesus is one with the Father, His desire is for us to be one, in intimate union with Him and each other (Jn. 17:3).  His desire is for us to partake in His divine nature (2 Pe. 1:4).

God’s heart has always been toward relational intimacy with humanity. Jesus is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Rev. 13:8), through the grace given before time began (2 Tim. 1:9).

We Believe...

Man Sinned...In the garden, Adam, as the representative  of all humanity ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, subjecting himself and all creation to death.

Death was the result of Adam’s choice rather than a curse from God. Instead of choosing life, Adam rejected the truth of who God was, and  of whom God declared Adam to be. This is “the lie” Adam believed; this is the reality of original sin (Gen. 3)(Col 3:9-11) (James 3:8-9)(1John 4:17).

We Believe...

God's Response to Sin...Sin did not change God’s attitude toward or His purpose in man. In the garden man ran and hid from God, and has been doing so ever since his fall.  However God has consistently sought man, not as an angry wrathful God, but as a loving Savior desiring to heal the broken hearted and restore relational intimacy. (1John4:8)

We Believe...

The Christian... is any person who trusts in Jesus Christ. Christians experience new birth through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit, embrace their adoption as children of God and enter a right relationship with God and fellow humans by God's grace as they are empowered and led by the Holy Spirit. The Christian’s life is characterized by the fruit of the Holy Spirit.(Romans 10:9-13Galatians 2:20John 3:5-7Titus 3:5Mark 8:34John 1:12-133:16-17Romans 5:1Romans 8:914-15John 13:35Galatians 5:22-23)

We Believe...

Christian Conduct… is characterized by trust in and loving allegiance to Jesus Christ, who loved us and gave himself for us. Trust in Jesus Christ is expressed by belief in the gospel and by participation in Jesus Christ’s works of love. Through the Holy Spirit, Christ transforms the hearts of believers, producing in them love, joy, peace, faithfulness, meekness, kindness, goodness, gentleness, self-control, righteousness, and truth. (1 John 3:1623-244:20-212 Corinthians 5:15Ephesians 2:10Galatians 5:622-23Ephesians 5:9)

We Believe...

God Loves Us...God’s loves the entire world and desires for all humanity to respond to His love. Nothing can separate us from His love.(John.3:16;Rom.8:38-39)

We Believe...

God's Reconciliation...God heart is in reconciling all humanity to Himself. which he did and acomplished through the finished work of Christ, and now God is not counting our sins against us (2 Cor. 5:17-21; Rom. 5:10). God heart has always been toward man even though man has constantly been against God. Righteousness was the thing that humanity lost when Adam disobeyed God and ate from the tree in the garden. But God had a beautiful plan set in motion called "the plan of redemption" to restore mankind back unto himself. Jesus' single act of his obedience made many sons alive. (Rom. 5:1,2 Rom. 3:22 Rom. 5:15).

We Believe...

God's Complete Forgiveness...In Jesus single sacrifice, all sin, past, present, and future, has been forgiven. God has not been keeping any record of the world’s sin since the cross. (Heb. 9:26-28, 10:11-14, 10:16-18; 2 Cor. 5:19) God desires our focus to be on Him rather than sin.

We Believe...

God's Grace…God’s grace is free and unmerited and is expressed in everything he does. By grace, the Father redeemed all humanity and the entire cosmos from sin and death through Jesus Christ, and by grace, the Holy Spirit empowers humans to know and love the Father and Jesus Christ and thereby experience the joy of eternal salvation in the kingdom of God.

God’s grace in our lives is instantaneous making Jesus status our status (Col. 1:21-22; 2 Cor. 5:14-15, Gal. 3:29-4:1), His identity is our identity (Jn. 17:20-21, Eph. 5:31-32). God's Grace is a process as well a journey, transforming our lives into what we were designed to be (Tit. 2:11-12).

(Ephesians 2:8-91 John 2:1-2Colossians 1:20Romans 11:328:19-213:245:215-1721John 1:12Titus 3:7)

We Believe...

Sin... is the state of alienation from God of all humanity and consists of anything that is contrary to God’s will, including acts of wrongdoing, neglect to do good and unbelief in the God of grace and love as made known in Jesus Christ. The Bible associates sin with the devil, whose work Jesus came to destroy. Sin results in damaged relationships, suffering and death. Because all humans are sinners, all humans need the good news that God loves them unconditionally and has forgiven their sins and reconciled them to himself through Jesus Christ.

(1 John 3:4James 4:17Romans 14:23Romans 5:1217-197:24-25Mark 7:21-231 John 3:8Ephesians 2:2;Galatians 5:19-21Romans 6:233:23-24Ephesians 2:12-13)

We Believe...

Faith in God…Faith in God is a gift of God, rooted in Jesus Christ and enlightened by the witness of the Holy Spirit in the Scriptures. Through faith, God prepares and enables our minds to participate in Jesus Christ’s communion with the Father by the Spirit. Jesus Christ is the Author and Perfecter of our faith. (Ephesians 2:8Romans 12:3Romans 10:17Hebrews 11:1Romans 5:1-21:173:21-2811:6Ephesians 3:121 Corinthians 2:5Hebrews 12:2)

We Believe...

Salvation... {Restoration to Relationship with God and Life Forever}, is a free gift of God’s unconditional love called grace. This gift is given to the person who freely and willingly accepts the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Man can never be good enough to make up for sin or work hard enough to deserve forgiveness. Trusting in the Finished work of Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. Eternal Life begins the moment we believe in Christ. Our salvation is secure because it is a gift not a reward. It cannot be lost, forfeited or returned for any and all reasons. Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8, 9; John 14:6; John 1:12

Salvation is the restoration of human fellowship with God and the deliverance of the entire creation from the bondage of sin and death. Salvation is given by the grace of God and experienced through faith in Jesus Christ, not earned by personal merit or good works. God calls on every person to enter that divine fellowship, which has been secured for humanity in Jesus Christ and is embodied by him as the beloved of the Father at the Father’s right hand.

(Romans 8:21-236:1822-231 Corinthians 1:91 Timothy 2:3-6Matthew 3:17Colossians 3:1Ephesians 2:4-10)

We Believe...

Jesus’ grace alone provides everything...Jesus’ grace alone provides everything we need to reign in life (Romans 5:17). His grace provides:

  • Perfect righteousness (2 Cor. 5:21)
  • Eternal redemption (Heb. 9:12)
  • Peace and joy (Eph 2:14)
  • Health and healing (1Peter 2:24)
  • Provision for abundant living (John 10:10)

We Believe...

Repentance... toward God is a change of mind and attitude in response to the grace of God prompted by the Holy Spirit and grounded in the Word of God. It includes awareness of personal sinfulness and trust in and allegiance to Jesus Christ through whom all humanity has been reconciled to God and accompanies a new life sanctified by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ.

(Acts 2:382 Corinthians 5:18-19Romans 2:410:17Colossians 1:19-20Romans 12:2)

We Believe...

Man's Response to God...God has invited all humanity into His family and is eagerly awaiting our response. God has already accepted all humanity, we just need to complete what He began and accept Him, freely receiving what God has graciously provided (Jn. 1:12). True life comes through accepting His finished work of reconciliation and forgiveness.  In this we will experience His abundant life instead of Adam’s death. (John 10:10)

We Believe...

The Finished Work of the Cross...On the cross Jesus declared "it is finished."

  • Humanities bondage to the curse of the lawfinished(Gal. 3:3).
  • Humanities bondage the power of sin, finished (Rom. 6:6, 8:3; 1 Pet. 2:24).
  • Humanities bondage to the fear of death, finished (Heb. 2:15).
  • The work of eternal salvation, finished.

There is nothing we can do to add to what Jesus has already done, it is finished! It is finished once and for all mankind. We are already complete in Christ. We only need to believe the good news and freely what He has freely given (John 19:30).

We Believe...

Eternal Security...God does not want us to live in eternal insecurity but rather in His eternal security. The believer’s salvation is eternally secure in Christ (Jn. 6:39-40, 10:28-29; Heb. 10:14, 12:23-24; 2 Tim. 2:13; 1 Cor. 6:17).

Jesus is the author, sustainer, and completer of our faith (Heb. 12:2). It has never been about our faith being strong enough to remain in Him, but whether His faith is strong enough to keep us in Him.

We Believe...

The Church...The church consists of those responding to God's invitation. It exists universally, regionally, and locally. Its main purpose is not merely in building up the individual, but even more so in building up others (Heb. 10:24-26; Rom. 1:11-12 ; Eph. 4:11-16).

We Believe...

Water Baptism…Water Baptism is a sign and gift given to God’s people that identifies us with death and resurrection of Jesus our Lord. Water Baptism is simple an outward expression of an inward work of God’s beautiful amazing grace!

We Believe...

Holy Communion…Holy Communion is a sign and gift given to God’s people that is to be used often for the healing of our bodies, and the reminder that we are in full fellowship with Jesus.

We Believe...

Walking in Love…God is love, and He created us to live our lives walking in the fullness of His love (1 Jn. 4:7-8).  Loving those God loves proclaims to the world that we are His disciples (Jn 13:35). Whatever mighty exploits one may do, if not done in love, are empty works (1 Cor. 13:1-3).

Love cannot be made, it is a fruit growing from one’s relationship with God (Ga. 5:22).  The only reason we can truly love is because He first loved us (1 Jn. 4:19-20).

We Believe...

The Lord's Supper...In the sacrament of the Lord's Supper, we partake of bread and wine in remembrance of our Savior, proclaiming his death until he comes. The Lord’s Supper is a participation in the death and resurrection of our Lord. Just as the bread and wine become part of our physical bodies, so we are made by grace to partake spiritually of Jesus Christ in his body and blood. Thus the Lord’s Supper declares to believers that in every aspect of our Christian life we rely not on any obedience or righteousness of our own, but solely upon the grace of God incarnate in Jesus Christ.

(1 Corinthians 11:23-2610:16Matthew 26:26-281 Corinthians 1:92 Timothy 1:9)

We Believe...

The Second Coming...Jesus Christ, as he promised, will come again to judge and reign over all nations in the kingdom of God. His second coming will be visible, and in power and glory and will bring the final end to evil. This event inaugurates the resurrection of the dead and the reward of the saints.

(John 14:3Revelation 1:71 Thessalonians 4:15-17Revelation 12:10-12Revelation 22:12)

We Believe...

The Judgment...God judges all humans through Jesus Christ as those who belong to God through him. Therefore, all humans are, in spite of themselves, loved, forgiven, and included in Jesus Christ, who is their Lord and Savior. God’s love will never cease or diminish even for those who, denying the reality of who they are in him, refuse his love; they will not enjoy the fruit of his salvation but rather will experience his love as wrath. God disciplines those he loves so that they will return to him and live; he stands at the door and knocks, urging them to open the door to his everlasting love. God’s judgment in Christ means the ultimate end of evil and the renewal of the earth and all creation.

(Acts 24:15John 5:28-29John 3:17Romans 5:6Colossians 1:201 Timothy 2:3-62 Peter 3:9Romans 5:15-18Acts 10:43John 12:321 Corinthians 15:22-28Hebrews 12:6Ephesians 1:10Revelation 3:19-20)

We Believe...

The Christian life... is a journey of growing in our understanding of the love of God and the finished work of Christ (Ephesians 3:17-19). It is also the process of renewing our minds (Romans 12:1-2) by exchanging old sinful thoughts and behaviors for righteous thoughts and behaviors. As we exchange lies for truth we deepen in our understanding of God and His salvation, and experience the abundant life that is ours in Christ (John 10:10).

Behavior change is never to maintain or earn closeness to God. Christ’s blood has already brought believers into a fully intimate relationship with Him. We simply must grow in our application and understanding of what Christ has done.

We Believe...

There are many other things that could be said in regard to the essentials of the faith, but these are some of the more important elements. We also know that there are many issues that have traditionally divided Christ’s church and that people of great biblical knowledge and deep faith disagree about. It is our duty toward Christ to be in loving dialogue with one another, keeping our Lord Jesus as our focus, so that we may live in unity and peace.

Key Points of Christian Theology

Following are some basic precepts of the theology presented.
  1. The Triune God created all people through the Son of God, who also is known as the Word of God.
  2. We were created so that we could participate in the love relationship enjoyed by the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  3. We are enabled and qualified to participate in this relationship of love through Jesus Christ.
  4. The Son became human, the man Jesus Christ, taking on our human nature.
  5. He did this to reconcile all humanity to God through his birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension.
  6. The crucified, resurrected and glorified Jesus is the representative and the substitute for all humanity.
  7. As Savior and Lord of all humanity, Jesus now sits at the right hand of the Father, and he draws all people to himself by the power of the Holy Spirit.
  8. In Christ, humanity is loved and accepted by the Father.
  9. Jesus Christ paid for all our sins—past, present and future—and there is no longer any debt to pay.

10.  The Father has in Christ forgiven all our sins, and he eagerly desires that we receive his forgiveness.

11.  We can enjoy his love only as we believe/trust that he loves us. We can enjoy his forgiveness only when we believe/trust he has forgiven us.

12.  When we respond to the Spirit by turning to God, believing the good news and picking up our cross and following Jesus, the Spirit leads us into the transformed life of the kingdom of God.
